Kevin Awaya, President

Kevin Awaya is President of CampusDocs. As one of the founders of CampusDocs, Kevin’s mix of technology, business acumen and entrepreneurial experience guided the creation and launch of Campusdocs. Kevin has over 15 years of technology and operations experience. Prior to joining CampusDocs, Kevin served as the Chief Technology Officer of Hoike Services, Inc, a Honolulu-based technology start up. Kevin also served in numerous technology advisory and consulting roles supporting the development implementation and maintenance of numerous enterprise class systems in Fortune 500 companies.

Kevin earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University.

Michelle Taft, Vice President Professional Services

Michelle Taft is Vice-President of Professional Services and also leads the support department at CampusDocs. Michelle has nearly 10 years of experience in the professional services industry. Prior to joining CampusDocs, Michelle served as a business consultant at Arthur Anderson. Michelle has a broad range of professional services experience ranging from business process optimization and change management to IT systems implementation to Financial Analysis.

Michelle earned her Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Finance from Portland State University and her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies with concentrations in Political Science and French from the University of Idaho and the University of Savoie. Michelle is also a PMP certified project manager and member of various organizations including PMI, AIIM and ARMA.

Lance Murata, Director, Marketing & Product Development

Lance Murata is Director of Marketing & Product Development at CampusDocs. Lance has nearly 15 years of experience in technology development & sales and marketing. Prior to joining CampusDocs, Lance was a product manager at Velocium, a Los Angeles based technology startup. Lance also worked in TRW Ventures supporting the licensing and commercialization of defense developed technology. Lance also served on several IT strategy engagements with Diamond Technology Partners a management consulting firm.

Lance earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles and his Masters of Engineering from the University of Southern California. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Lance is the President of the AIIM Hawaii chapter and member of numerous higher education and technology associations including AACRAO, NACAC, NACUBO, CUPA, ARMA and AMA associations.

Wendy Kajiyama, Director, Software Engineering

Wendy Kajiyama is the Director of Software Engineering with responsibility for the development, implementation and maintenance of CampusDocs technology platform and infrastructure. Wendy has nearly 6 years of experience in developing and managing J2EE-based enterprise systems. Wendy also has exstensive experience in Service Oriented Architecture, Java Design Best Practices and Open Source technologies. Prior to joining CampusDocs, Wendy was an Application Developer at Revacomm a Honolulu based technology startup.

Wendy earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Wendy is also a member of various industry organizations including AITP.
